TERMS

When visiting or purchasing from Penfold’s reptiles website you acknowledge that you accept following terms and conditions

This does not affect your statuary rights

PRICES AND DISCOUNTS

All prices include vat (where applicable) at the current UK rate

We will try and keep prices correct at all times, but occasionally manufactures and suppliers will make changes without warning for this reason we reserve the right to change prices and alter information at short notice

Charges for postage and packaging and other prices will be displayed and adhered to at the best of our ability but may alter

CARRIAGE AND DELIVERY

Delivery is made by post or courier vat is applied

DEFECTIVE GOODS AND RETURNS

Items found to be unsatisfactory on arrival must be reported within 24 hours

Refunds or replacements please click the returns tab at the bottom of the page and fill out the form your problem will be processed. We will notify you by email the status of your problem and resolve it as soon as possible

Normally we cannot refund/replace after the 24 hour time period (weekends and bank holidays do not apply)

Any items after a period of time on a warranty claim must be returned together with your receipt for repair/replacement

In the case of Habistat thermostats we can give you a 24 hour repair service, please make sure you check your heater is working and the fuse is of working order

We do not accept any liability for any loss caused by damaged or faulty items, delays by couriers or delays in dispatch

LIVE AND FROZEN FOOD

Frozen and Livefood are a special class of goods

All Livefoods are guaranteed to arrive alive and in good condition

We usually add surplus to make up for any loss in transit

The guarantee covers the advertised amount, you may find some DOA but they are covered by the surplus we will not guarantee any livefood reported unsuitable after 24 hours, but we will give you the best advice to keep them in prime condition

Frozen food is packed frozen and we will do what we can to keep it that way but we cannot guarantee it to arrive frozen, defrosted food are not returnable for credit, refund or exchange

We reserve the right to withhold livefood or frozen orders during extreme weather ie; too hot or too cold and will be processed at the first available time.
